Differentiating environmental from disease-related temperature elevations in newborn is clinically important, because neonate with environment-related temperature elevation might be subjected to an unnecessary work-up to detect occult disease. Total or mostly total intestinal aganglionosis is rare and invariably fatal.
All patients with aganglionosis involving more than half of the small bowel have died with persistent intestinal obstruction and secondary maluntrition and infection.
Recently, we experienced two cases of total colon aganglionosis extending to the middle of the jejunum in triplet.
We report the cases with brief review of literatures. |

Double outlet left ventricle is one of the rarest and least well understood congenital anomalies
the heart, with means that more than 1 l/2great arteries arise above the morphologically left
ventricle.
We experienced a case of double outlet left ventricle (S,L,L) with subaortic ventricular septal defect
and pulmonary atresia in a male neonate, which was diagnosed at autopsy.
A brief review of literature was made. |
